In 1984, Nicole Portwood graduated from high school, and like most young people, was trying to decide where to go to college. Meanwhile, working part-time as a clown at a local amusement park, she attended a circus, and her mind was made up.

After an in-depth interview and intimidating audition, she was accepted to one of the most prestigious institutions in the nation... Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College! The rest is history!

Nicole has spent the last 25 years working in every possible venue for clowns. Her credits include touring both nationally and internationally with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, performing for guests at Disneyland and Disney World, and entertaining thousands of children and adults alike at all the birthdays, company picnics, schools and libraries she has been invited to since starting her company in 1992.

After performing as Penelope, a white face clown, for 12 years, Nicole decided it was time for a change. In 1996 she created "Maggie", a more "human" looking clown, who is just as unpredictable, silly and full of fun. She can also be seen donning the Easter Bunny costume, Mrs. Claus, and so many more. There are new characters being produced all the time!

One of the reasons Nicole has been so successful is she truly loves the work she does. There are many who say that anyone can put on clown make-up, but to be a true clown, it has to come from your heart...
